About
Vistale connects people through the same view. A corner on your daily walk, a riverside bench, or a place far from home can hold more than one story.
CAPTURE THE VIEW
Take a photo in the app where you stand and add a note if you like: a memory, a thought, a question. Choose who can see it before you save: only you, or the people at this view.
MEET THE PEOPLE WHO STOOD HERE
When your photo passes review and matches a view, you join it. See the photos and notes others left there, reply, ask the way or the best time to come, or help someone who is there now. Crossings gathers new photos and replies from the views you have joined.
DISCOVER PHOTOS, THEN THE STORIES
Discover shows photos people chose to show, with the place they were taken. Notes and conversations stay inside each view, for the people who have been there.
YOUR PHOTOS, KEPT
Photos you take in Vistale are also saved to your Photos library at full quality, with when and where they were taken. You can turn this off in Settings.
KEEP YOUR OWN RECORD
Use Vistale without an account as a personal photo journal; those records stay on this phone. Photos imported from your library are personal records. Once you have joined a view, you can add an earlier photo you took there.
Choose Only me for anything you want to keep to yourself, or turn off Show Photo in Discover to share a photo only with the people at its view. Your name and profile photo appear in views only if you choose to show them. Report content, block someone, or delete your account at any time.
Joining a view needs an account, a photo taken in the app at the place, location access, and review. Not every photo finds a match.
