About
The Room is an invite-only group chat for a community that likes to talk about money habits, goals and everyday decisions.
Open the app with your door link and you are in the conversation. No feed of strangers, no ads, no algorithm. Just the room.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Chat with other members in one shared room
- Reply to a message with a quoted reply
- See pinned messages from the host at the top
- Vote in polls
- See how many members are online right now
- Messages written in another alphabet (Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese...) get a "See translation" button (Google Gemini, with your consent)
- Choose your notifications: everything, host messages only, or only when you are mentioned. Send yourself a test ping.
SAFE BY DESIGN
- Invite only. Every member is admitted by the host.
- Report any message with a reason. Reports reach the host right away and are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Block any member. Their past and future messages disappear from your view.
- Flagged content is collapsed until you choose to show it.
- Delete your seat and all of your data any time from Settings.
NO PAYMENTS, NO ADS, NO TRACKING
The app has no purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Tap 'Apply for a seat' in the app. If you are admitted, we email your door link.
For adults. Members agree to the house rules: no objectionable content, no abuse. Violators are removed.
