About
Stampo turns whatever is in front of your camera into a collectible postage stamp.
Line up your shot through the see-through window of a vintage stamp frame, tap the shutter, and Stampo crops the photo to the frame, punches the perforated edge, and files the finished stamp into your album. No editing session and nothing to export — the stamp exists the moment you take it.
A STAMP CAMERA, NOT AN EDITOR
You compose through the frame itself, so what you line up is what you get. There is no crop screen to wrestle with afterwards and no filter menu to dig through.
SEVEN FRAME SHAPES
Perforated classic, square, circle, arch, scalloped, Polaroid, and triangle. Each frame is drawn on aged cream paper with a faded postmark, so every stamp comes out looking posted rather than processed.
FRAMED OR CUT OUT
Keep the cream border around your photo, or switch to cut mode and the stamp is cut to its own silhouette on a transparent background — ready to drop straight into a scrapbook page or a journal spread.
ALBUMS THAT FILL UP
Make an album for a trip, a pet, a season. Rename it whenever you like, and move any stamp to a different album as your collection takes shape. Each album cover stacks your latest stamps the way real stamps sit in a book.
NAMED BY WHERE YOU WERE
Every new stamp takes the name of the place you took it, so an album reads back like a travel log. Leave location off and stamps are named by date instead.
FIND ANY STAMP AGAIN
Search albums and stamps by name. Sort an album newest first or oldest first, then tap any stamp to see it full size with its name, its album, and the date it was captured.
YOURS ALONE
No account and no sign-in. Your photos, stamps, and albums are stored on your device and are never uploaded to a server.
WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
Making stamps, organizing albums, and searching your collection all work in airplane mode.
WHAT STAMPO INCLUDES
• A stamp camera with a live see-through frame
• Seven frame shapes, from perforated edges to Polaroid
• Framed or cut-out stamps on a transparent background
• Albums you create, rename, and move stamps between
• Stamp names taken from your location, with a date fallback
• Search and sort across your whole collection
• Offline and on-device, with no account required
IMPORTANT NOTE
Stampo needs camera access to make a stamp. Location access is optional and is used only to name a stamp after the place it was taken; without it, stamps are named by date. Stamps are kept in the app's own storage and are not backed up to iCloud, so deleting the app removes them.
