Shroomify - Canada Mushroom ID

Explore mushrooms, even with no signal. Shroomify is an independent mushroom field guide. Use a photo or illustrated questions to narrow down possible matches, then compare the details for yourself. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Species descriptions and Shroomify research content are available in English, French, German and Italian. Local common names are shown where available, alongside scientific names. IDENTIFY YOUR WAY • Photo assistance suggests a mushroom's type, cap colour and other visible traits for you to check. Analysis runs on your device, without an internet connection. • Characteristic ID uses illustrated choices to narrow your shortlist, with an optional Advanced mode for finer details. • Search by common or scientific name to go straight to a species. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Identification, the field guide and your logbook work offline once installed. • Browse 400+ species with 1,000+ photographs and regional datasets. • Typical seasonal records help order results for your selected area and month. • Expanded field guide notes and linked similar-species cards help you compare important features. • Save favourites and record finds in your personal, on-device logbook. WEATHER OUTLOOKS A free early preview combines recent and forecast weather with research into fungal records to show when conditions may be more or less favourable than usual for a species in a supported area. These outlooks need an internet connection. Coverage depends on the available evidence and current data, so not every area or mushroom has an outlook. Comparisons are with that area's usual conditions for the time of year, not a promise of how many mushrooms you will find or a ranking of one area's habitat against another. Share feedback from within the feature to help improve it. INDEPENDENT AND PRIVATE No adverts or cross-app tracking. Premium features are included on iOS, with no separate in-app purchase or subscription required in this release. Photos stay on your device unless you choose to contribute one. Photo contributions and forecast feedback are optional. Shroomify is a guide, not a guarantee. Always confirm a mushroom's identity and never eat a wild mushroom unless you are completely certain of what it is.
