Raindrop by RAIN

Raindrop is RAIN's exchange for UC San Diego. Students, faculty, researchers, staff, alumni, and partners post what they need and what they offer, and Raindrop matches you with the people and openings that fit what you are working on. FOR YOU A feed of research positions, internships and jobs, startup roles, project teams, mentorship, programs, and people, each with the reasons it fits you. EXPLORE Everything posted across campus, people by what they work on, and more than forty student orgs, labs, and startups. MESSAGE ANYONE Anyone at UC San Diego is one message away. There are no connection requests: once you have both written, you are connected and your contact details open. YOUR NETWORK A living map of who you know, and how you are connected to anyone else, degree by degree. ASK RAINDROP Ask a question in plain words and Raindrop searches people, postings, and orgs for you. POST AND HIRE Post a need or an offer from nine templates, from a lab seat to a quick question, and move applicants through your own pipeline. EVENTS RSVP, add events to your calendar, and check in at the door by scanning its code. RESEARCH DATA Follow campus lab datasets through their readiness stages and request access. WHO CAN JOIN Anyone with a UC San Diego email. Investors, founders, industry, and alumni join as partners with any email, and the RAIN board confirms each partner account. Guests can also join with an invitation or an access code from RAIN. Matching and member postings open once you are a member of one of RAIN's affiliated orgs. YOUR DATA You choose who sees your profile. Block anyone, report anything to the RAIN board, and export or delete your account from Settings at any time. Raindrop is run by RAIN, the Real World AI Network at UC San Diego.
