Midian Handoff

Midian Handoff lets you pass a temporary password, door code, license key or short note to a specific person using an encrypted link or QR code — without leaving it in a chat thread. HOW IT WORKS 1. The receiver opens "Receive" and shows their Receive ID QR (or copies the link). 2. The sender scans or pastes the Receive ID, writes a title and content (optionally up to 2 images and GPS coordinates), and taps "Encrypt & create link". 3. The sender gives the link or QR to the receiver using the system share sheet or in person (large content is split into two links/QRs). 4. The receiver imports the link (or scans the QR with the camera), decrypts and reads it, can keep a copy in the on-device vault, and can destroy the local ciphertext. FEATURES • End-to-end encryption on device: Curve25519 key agreement and AES-256-GCM. The receiver's private key stays in the device Keychain. • Recipient-specific: other devices cannot open a forwarded link. • No account, no server: encrypted content lives only in the link/QR. The developer cannot see or recover it. • Expiry: 1–72 hours. • On-device vault protected by Face ID / Touch ID / passcode or an app PIN; locks as soon as you leave the app. • Optional images and GPS coordinates (location is used only when you tap "Get current location"). CREDITS (no subscription) • Sender: 1 credit when an encrypted link is created. • Receiver: 1 credit on first successful decryption (refunded if decryption fails). • Cancel, expiry and destroying the local ciphertext are free. • Credit packs (3 / 10 / 30) are consumable in-app purchases. Credits are stored on this device only and cannot be restored on another device; deleting the app removes them. GOOD TO KNOW • The other person also needs Midian Handoff installed. • The app cannot prevent screenshots or remotely revoke content after it is decrypted. • Do not use the app to share illegal, infringing or harassing content. • The app interface is currently in Traditional Chinese.
