Hug the Dot

Stay on the dot. A dot wanders across the screen, a little faster every second. Touch it. Stay on it. The moment you lose it, the run is over. Your score is the time you hold on, multiplied by what you picked up on the way. One input. No menus to fight. Retry in a heartbeat. HOW IT PLAYS - Press and hold the dot and follow it wherever it goes. - Pickups appear around the arena. The dot collects them as it passes, so stay on it while it does. Double your multiplier, grow the dot, slow it down, or take a risk with a shrink or a burst of speed. Each pickup has its own shape, so colour is never the only clue. - Lose the dot and the screen floods with colour and your score. Right away you can watch the replay of exactly where you slipped: the dot's path, your finger's path, and the spot where you let go. A DAILY COURSE FOR EVERYONE Every day has one course that is the same for every player. Finish a run and see your rank, and a live "N got this far" count while you play. Reach 100 seconds and you are embraced: the run carries on, and you are counted among the players you outlasted. Beat the best anyone has managed today and the pill turns gold: NEW WORLD RECORD. SAME COURSE, BETTER YOU Retry replays the same course with a ghost of your best run, so you can see where you were faster. New dot gives a fresh course and a fresh colour. Every course has a short code you can type in or share with a friend. DETAILS - Plays in portrait or landscape; the arena fits your screen - Neon dot on black, or a light theme - Sound that is made as you play: a hum that climbs with the dot's speed. Turn it off any time - Haptics, with a switch - Works offline for random courses; the daily needs a connection - No account, no name, no email. Scores are anonymous ranks. A free game with an occasional ad between runs - Delete your data from the start screen whenever you like Made by Michael Out In Manchester Limited. Privacy: hugthedot.com/privacy
