About
Meet your pocket docent.
Docent turns any big, overwhelming museum into a calm, personal walking route — just the works you'll love, in an order that makes sense for your feet and your time.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your museum.
2. Answer a few gentle questions — the periods and subjects you enjoy, any artists you'd hate to miss, how long you'd like to stay, and how much walking feels comfortable.
3. Get your route. Docent maps an ordered, room-by-room itinerary: which galleries to visit, in what order, how long to linger, the walk between each, and why every stop is worth your time.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
• Personal, not generic. Your route is built around your interests — not a one-size-fits-all "see everything" loop.
• Never miss the masterpiece. Our signature-works guarantee keeps the Mona Lisa, the Night Watch, and each museum's icons on your path.
• Made for real feet and real time. Tell us you have two hours and prefer step-free routes with plenty of seating, and your plan respects that.
• Works offline. Your route is planned right on your phone, so it keeps working even when the museum's wi-fi doesn't.
• Easy and comfortable to read. Large type, plain language, and one simple choice per screen — designed to be effortless for everyone, including visitors who don't love fiddly apps.

VISIT WITH FRIENDS
Add a friend by sending them a link — there's no directory and nobody can look you up. Once you're connected you can see the art they've liked and the museums they've been to, and they can see yours. You choose what you share, each part separately, and you can change it or remove a friend at any time.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Start planning as a guest — there's nothing to sign up for. If you'd like to save favorite works and museums and keep track of the ones you've visited, you can create an account with just your email and a one-time code. No passwords, no ads, no tracking, ever.
Your visit, your pace, your route. Welcome to Docent.
