Climbing Forecasts brings together the information climbers need before deciding where and when to climb. Explore supported crags on the map, search by name, save favourites and open a detailed forecast for each location. CRAG-SPECIFIC FORECASTS See hourly climbing conditions and seven-day forecasts alongside temperature, wind, rain, humidity and daylight. Condition assessments consider crag details such as aspect, rock type, recent rain, drying speed and seepage risk where data is available. WEATHER WINDOWS AND ALERTS Get notified when a weather window matches your preferences at your favourite crags. Choose your climbing days, how far ahead to look, and acceptable temperature, rain and wind conditions. Set alerts for rain, sleet and snow, and receive Met Office weather warnings for your favourites or near your last shared location. Location-based warnings are optional and do not use background location tracking. Choose quiet hours and review previous alerts in notification history. Notifications can tell you when a forecast changes, with links to the latest forecast. COMPARE FORECASTS Compare rain and wind predictions from different forecast models where available to help judge uncertainty when planning your day. RECENT RAIN AND DRYING Check recent rain radar and drying information to help judge whether rock may still be wet after showers or longer periods of rain. COASTAL CONDITIONS At supported coastal crags, view tide, wave and swell information alongside the weather to help plan around access, sea spray and exposed conditions.
