AI Go King is one app for playing Go against AI, replaying professional games and solving tsumego (life-and-death problems). ■ On-device AI that works offline • KataGo, an open-source Go AI, runs directly on your iPhone, so you can play on a plane or on the subway without an internet connection. • Choose how deeply the AI thinks: Fast, Standard or Deep. More thinking makes it play stronger. • The AI resigns once the game is clearly lost. ■ Cloud AI from 18 kyu to 9 dan • Pick your opponent's rank: 18k, 15k, 12k, 9k, 6k, 3k, 1k, 1d, 3d, 5d, 7d or 9d. • Turn on "Play like a human" and the AI plays the way a person of that rank would. • With it off, you face the Strongest AI at full strength. • A live win rate shows who is ahead. ■ 1:1 with a friend • Take turns on one iPhone. No points needed. ■ Game settings • Board size 9×9, 13×13 or 19×19 • Even game or a handicap of 2 to 9 stones, with your choice of komi • Korean, Japanese or Chinese rules • Play Black or White and name your game ■ Help during the game • Ask for a hint to see the move the AI recommends. • Estimate the position to see the current score difference. • Undo is free 3 times per game. • Confirm each move with a second tap so a stray touch doesn't place a stone. • When the game ends, the AI counts the territory and shows the result. • Games save automatically. Use "New game from here" to branch off at any position. ■ Pro game records • Browse the latest professional games and search by tournament or player. • Step through a game move by move, jump 5 moves at a time, or use auto play. • Records with AI analysis show Black's and White's win rate for every move. • Position estimates in game records are free. • From any position, keep playing against the AI. • Reopen your 5 most recently viewed game records right from the lobby. ■ Tsumego • Train your reading with Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced problem sets. • Solve each problem by placing stones on the board. The app saves your accuracy and history. Viewing answers is free. ■ Points • Get 100P when you first sign in, plus a check-in bonus on your first visit each day. • An AI game costs 10P, a hint 5P, an in-game estimate 5P, and undo 5P from the 4th time in a game. • Points never expire and free points are spent first. Buy point packs in the app when you run low. • 1:1 games, pro game records, estimates in records and tsumego answers are free. ■ Account • Start right away without signing up.
